The tools seem to be decent quality and I do believe that overall this set is a money-saver. It arrived with everything listed. There was no sort of packing slip or any printed material in the package, which was odd. My only complaints are that the "soldering board" is actually a round disc about 3" in diameter, it is not the block pictured in the photo. Also, the file that it comes with is not a half round file, it's a flat file. Once I start using the tools I will update the review based on the quality and ease of use. All in all, I do believe this was a good deal for someone who has absolutely no jewelry soldering tools and is trying to get started. This is a basic set that you can add to as needed, but it definitely seems like enough to get you started. P.S. you have to buy butane for the torch. The torch itself does feel to be good quality.Update: This set turned out being even better than I had initially thought. It contains tools I never would have thought to buy, but I ended up needing them when making a ring. I ended up making an awesome piece of silver jewelry with this set and am so excited to make more stuff. The only things I needed to buy in addition to this set were: pickle, copper tongs, flux, a steel hammering plate, a mallet, a soldering stand, a charcoal block, a wooden clamp for sawing, and the metal and stones. Otherwise, everything is there in the set. I highly recommend this. Oh, and I bought a bigger micro torch. The one included works great for small stuff, but I need a more powerful one too.
