This is SO much better than the original "snag nabbit" (if I am spelling that right. It's a bit thinner so you aren't widening the holes, and you can use it on the back to pull short thread (from playing "thread chicken" with your thread to see how much you can get without having to switch to another thread) underneath the nearby stitch row and securing it (I should add I cross stitch, not sew), something the original ones can't do. So these will get much use from me!
