Man this thing does the trick! Been trying every tool in the book to make smooth lines and this is the only one to work! Fantastic :DIts a plastic stick with two different size flat heads. Works as intended and glad I dont have to find random items to apply texture anymore.Yes, as many other reviewers point out, there are any number of things you can use to spread texture paints on your bases. And yes, it's just a piece of plastic. However, after extensively using metal, wooden, and silicon tools, this tool has a big advantage over the others: it has the perfect amount of flex, not too much or too little. Metal and wood tools are too inflexible, and you have to work to get a natural lay to the material you are applying. Conversely, silicon shapers are just too flexible to spread evenly. And the plastic is easy to clean.Bottom line: to me it's worth it, and its a very good tool. 4 stars because yes, I agree it's a bit much to ask for a plastic tool. but don't kid yourself, it's GW. Did you seriously expect inexpensive from them? You could honestly using anything as a texture basing tool. You don’t have to buy this if you don’t want to.This tool is GREAT! It makes applying basing materials much, much easier without getting it in places I don't want it. I wish I could go back and tell myself to buy this months ago.It is very useful for managing the texture paint.why 11$?... its junk plastic, not metal. Dont buy this. It's good if you want to be a pro, but really it's just a small scale applicator. I like it because it has different ends for different tasks, and I'm a suckered for citadel stuff.Saves paint brushes, the thin long end gets into deep hidden spots well, the little shovel end lifts a lot of texture paint, making the job faster.Strumento ideale per lo scopo.Bien para lo que sirve, pero un poco caro la verdadParfait pour travailler les textures
