Over 20+ years with this pool I’ve gone through three plastic versions of this tool; all three broke early on. This one fits “precisely” gripping the cleaning head tightly from its seat in the bottom of the pool onto the pool deck. 100% of the components are metal… it’s not likely to fail anywhere. $100 seems expensive, but if you’ve had experience with the plastic versions, it’s reasonable. If I amortize it, I have 11 cleaning fixtures. For each one that’s $4.50 to remove & $4.50 to replace. Over several years, it’s a steal. I should have done this years ago.
