I got this Dyson turbo head to use in my travel trailer. Space is limited in an RV. I carry a ShopVac Mini in my travel trailer and it does a good (but not great) job. It picks up the obvious dirt but doesn't get the sand and dirt that gets embedded into the carpet. On all of the RV discussion groups, I read about the vacuums that other RV'ers were carrying - most of them were too large and were out of the question. The ShopVac Mini hid away so well inside of my RV that I always was looking for a way to continue to use it rather than replace it. I stumbled on these turbo heads on Amazon while surfing around looking for other vacuuum options. The reviews for the various turbo models weren't always glowing but I thought I would give it a try - for $14.95 it wasn't much of a gamble.This Dyson turbo works really well on the little ShopVac and I can see how much dirt it pulls out of the carpet that I was missing before, by what it catches in the tank. I have had no problems with it stalling out from too much pressure as others have stated and I don't have dog hair to stop it up. I wish it was a little larger but I don't have a big area to vacuum in the RV so the size is not a tremendous issue.I am really impressed with how well this works.
