I recently purchased the Metal Wall Cabinet with Up-flip Door for my garage, and it's been a solid addition. The assembly was less-than straightforward. The instructions weren't always clear enough. It took a bit of time, but it wasn’t too difficult. Just make sure you have your own tools on hand because the included screwdriver isn’t very durable.Once assembled, the cabinet felt sturdy and well-built. The hydraulic-opening door is a great feature, keeping the lid open while you access the inside. The door opens smoothly and the lock provides a nice level of minimum security, especially with the three included keys. There is a lot of pressure on the hydraulic structs at first, but it gets easier after opening and closing it several times. The finish on the cabinet looks good and is easy to clean. However, be cautious during assembly to avoid scratches. The paint isn’t as rugged as some other finishes, but with normal use, it should hold up well.Just be prepared for some careful handling during assembly and mounting. The holes are not 16 or 24 inches apart (21.5") for stud mounting, but you can drill holes into it if you have the bits and a drill. The inside dimensions are tight. This cabinet will be great for smaller items.
