Seems well made but will update when I do use it.Trying to undo the plugs in a 53 year old truck, I got these to help get the wiring apart. Ease of use was great. Value was decent. Sturdiness? I bent a good portion of them. Maybe newer cars are easier to get the harness wiring apart, but old cars with old wiring. This tool was no match on got destroyed. Im looking at a different style for the next project. One with each release tool having its own handle instead of 6 ends on each handle. That way if I break one, or multiple, I won't have a tool that is half useless. Most Lisle tools I really like the quality. They are my go to for a lot of specialty tools. This isn't one I can recommend though.Timesavers. Much easier than stabbing yourself with an old rusty dental tool, ice pick, or finding that bit of small metal tubing maybe from a flux brush- you can't remember that was saved because you 'might need it some day.' You're already going to be flustered because you're trying to fix Pack-Con and Weather-Pack terminals, the right tool makes a difference.The other genius part of this is the 'handle,' which will also keep you from stabbing yourself.Hilariously large blow molded case (but I don't have a better suggestion) which is thoroughly useful, as mine are all currently sleeping soundly in that case plus it is easy to know if you're missing one. The case also keeps your anger level down if you were to accidentally drop or set a heavy set of pliers on top of one of the delicate poker things and bend it. Also helps fill up that empty space in your giant rolling tool box.If I was repairing wiring that needed these on a daily basis, I might not go for the Shuriken/Ninja throwing-star design, and would look for a set of individual driver style tools.My coworker has the same set from Mac tools and it works great so I had to get my own set. This set in the tool truck goes for $80 so it’s definitely worth getting it straight from lisle.Covers all basesSo if you are looking for a tool to remove the connectors in your VW I can confirm that this does the job on a mk 3 golf rear light connector block. You know the one that goes rusty and the lights then suffer earth leak and turning on the indicators flashes the entire rear light clusters. It may say ford but it does work for VW golfs. Next job climb on the engine and see if it works on the lambda connector leads that have broken.I wish I had discovered this little tool sooner.The tool did what I wanted but it was rather fiddly and often took some time before it worked. That said, I could not find another tool for the job for anything like the price.Very dissapointed with tool it did not meet exspectations.and failed to release terminels on my vehicleDid exactly what I wanted
