Used for my bicycleSeemed good at first but as soon as I had to remove an Allen screw that was tight, it deformed at the end causing it and the Allen screw that needed to be removed to stripAnd it works.Purchased for adjusting and tightening cleats on my cycling shoes. Easily portable. I keep it with my gym bag. Delivery was FAST, within one-day!Park's P-handled hex wrenches are extremely useful in the 4mm and 5mm sizes for running adjustments on gears and brakes. They're very strong, and give far more control on these adjustments than typical Allen keys. The reach is useful and the handle design gives you a lot of purchase on the screw. The metal appears to be strong enough that you can get away with using the ball-joint end with a fair bit of force. I'm not sure what the purpose of buying the full set is, though; there are few uses for the 10mm version, and as for the 8mm, the most common setting there is pedals and that's high enough torque I'd prefer to have the handle on the ball-tip end of the wrench rather than the square tip end (no point trying to tighten or loosen pedals with a ball-tip). But for up to 5mm (and in select cases 6mm) this is a very nice tool to have. Probably I'll add a 3mm version as well, at least at such point as I replace my JIS#2-limit-screw-equipped derailleurs with the latest 3mm Allen-key-adjustable ones.Ergonomic handle, hardened steel!I bought this to remove old Wimberly foot plates from telephoto lenses. (It's easy to strip/damage the heads of these important screws that hold Arca-Swiss type plates onto expensive lenses; if these plates fail, it could result in the damage of expensive equipment.) This Park Tool was absolutely perfect to help me in removing and replacing these camera plates. The Park Tool is long (allowing me to go deep into the screw wells), sturdy (lots of torque was placed on the tool, but it did not bend or break), and comfortable (the T-handle is well designed). Thank you Park Tool for such a great tool.5mm is the most frequently used tool and the form factor and ball end of this is great. Very handy - to the point I have ar hard time keeping my hands on it.I help staff a Boy Scouting Mountain Bike Program. I spend most of my time tweaking and (continuously) re-adjusting bikes as they come and go many times a day.The 5mm wrench was always dissapearing. And the cheapo HF one without a ball end was also sometimes tough to get into some sockets. And I had a hard time keeping my hands on that one anyway as everybody helping needed the 5mm.This format with short straight and long ball end is great and the handiest format. I sharpied the heck out of it and put my usual loop of paracord through the handle to mark it. So while it still dissapeared a lot in the shop during events - I still was able to bring it home.I highly recommend these wrenches and in this format.Best allen key hex wrench thingy I've ever owned. Used one of these at a cycle workshop and decided I simply must have it at home.Seeing as 5mm is probably the most popular size hex key you will use, I felt it worth the price for general bike maintenance and hobbyism. It has never failed to open a bolt (whatever you call them), and the rotational one is especially handy.Very heavy duty, but that's why it's as expensive as it is. Overkill for home maintenance? I don't know, but I've never had a problem with any 5mm bolt since I bought this.Just long enough to work with dismantling Judy TT forks.Feels solid, nice piece of kit.As you’d expect, this is a quality, but it once, tool from Park Tool. Perfect for pedals and a links.PerfectReasonable price and a good quality product as always from Park Tools, nothing else to say
