Smartest purchase I could have made.I updated both my 30 year old Occidental bags to the 'Fat Lip' style. I liked the organization of this right side bag.I would not even consider any other brand, Occidental bags are very well made and last. This style of bag makes your profile wider as compared to a non fat lip bag. I like the wide bags so I can hold a variety of stuff or parts to minimize my trips up and down a ladder or from the garage.Great tool pouch, very deep. Not a pouch youd wanna be doing interior work with due to its size, but if you've looked much at occidentals you probably already know that. This pouch Fits just about everything a framer needs. If you plan on carrying a chisel in the included tool shield grab yourself a dewalt 1.5" it fits nice and snug and doesnt rattle like other chisels I have. The tape holder is nice and big, fits a 30ft fat max no problem, I removed the clip from mine and sanded the back down smooth and it fits perfectly and doesnt hang.I love the fat lip bags, all my tools fit in them and they’re very well built. They’ve been holding up fine at work as a concrete form carpenter and I expect they’ll last many years. There’s not too many pockets on the inside though, so your linesman’s and wire cutters just sit in the big pouch but that’s not a big deal for me, I took the belt clip off my tape measure so it would fit in the pocket better but you don’t have to. Definitely worth the money for good quality bags that will last much longer than cheap hardware store bags.Looks in great condition, couldn't even notice any marring or scuffing. For the particular model itself, it is a very fine tool bag with an even composition of leather and nylon, both of which are high grade material and in the right places. It is a good combination of light, large enough for several tools but not cumbersome, comfortable around the waist and fairly easy to access. If I were o have one complaint it would simply be that there could be more slots for tools as compared to some bags, but that appears to be for the most part because the slots themselves are leather and so the material has to take up a little more space within the bag (but again, I can still fit several tools without issue). Also, the tape measure holder works well enough, but it seems a wrong move making that portion out of stiff leather, making it a bit more difficult to remove as compared to the size of the chalk-line pocket on its matching left-side bag. If you're looking to do anything involving woodcrafting and construction otherwise, both basic and more advanced, this would make a very fine piece in building your toolbelt.CarpenterBest bags 8ve ever gottenI love it!!!had them for a month now and havent regretted the purchase for a second.great quality, fairly light compared to other competitors and very well designed!Love ittop qualityyou get what you pay for.AwesomeI ordered two diferent items!!
