I bought this because my dad had a similar tool and I wanted to use this to make sure I got zipties on hoses tight when working on my car. So far it's been great. My only complaint is that due to the size / way it operates you can't fit in in very tight spaces, but where it does fit (most places I've tried) it works far better than my previous method of two pliers. It seems to be well constructed and I haven't had any issue with it so far.
