I've been using a Custom Leatherworks vinyl roll for many years but it's no longer made or stuck in a container in China? I got this and I actually like it a lot better. I put in a set of metric wrenches, vice grip, 1/4" socket set with Allen sockets and a bunch of other tools that should let me repair most anything on a motorcycle trip or out in an outboard motor. I always take a tool out then put it back in the roll so I can find it. The carry handle is a nice touch and the locking snap straps keep it closed.Good materials, durable. Spacing/stitching is slightly variable - so as I put in ascending wrenches, one or two was a tight fit into its “pocket”. Would buy again.I bought my first roll 7 years ago, now it is teared because I give it a really heavy duty. I like it for the easy way to store tolls and to get it out from my toolbox. I have one for spanners, other for special tools like pliers, torque wrench etc.Avoid storing sharpened objects since the fabric will be damaged that’s why I avoid to store screwdrivers on it. Would be nice if the fabric was made from a cut resistant material.Very nice and has stood up to some abuse so far. Way better than a tool bag, and if you are creative with tool placement, you can put a ton of stuff in this thing. This holds tools and utensils well. Canvas seems strong, and the plastic clips are convenient, but time will tell how long they hold up. May have been better to forego the plastic clips and just have user tie the roll, as the straps seem strong. It's nice the way it is right now though, and you can pull the straps to tighten the roll...that's what worries me...if I tighten it too much, something may break. By tightening the roll via the straps, nothing will fall out. The stitching looks like the seamstress hurried the job, not very professional looking for a good-looking roll like this, nevertheless, it seems to hold the tools in fine, and the edges of the roll seem very strong, which is why I bought it...practicality, not looks. Once rolled though, you don't really take notice of the stitching. I can recommend this.It is large and has many slots for tools. Some bigger than others. I use mine for my art supplies. Holds all my pens and pencils plus any other items (sharpener, erasers). It has three separate pockets along one side that hold closed with Velcro. I kind of didn't like the excess straps that dangle all over the place once the roll is closed. I ended up pinning them down which fixed the problem. Now I can have all my art tools organized by size and shade. No more guessing which pencils I have. Major upgrade from the plastic bag...So far so goodI recently bought a “new to me” truck. Decided to eliminate the huge toolbox I had in the back of my old truck. So I needed to pare down the amount of tools that I keep in the cab. This little guy is just what I was looking for. The set up is great for holding longer tools like wrenches, screwdrivers and vise grips. The center webbing keeps everything in place. Three small pockets underneath the Velcro flaps are good for sockets and small items like feeler gage, pressure gage and such. Has made me really think about what I’m carrying and why. Rolls up into a small convenient cylinder that fits underneath my rear seat. Perfect. I have owned two of the Bucket Boss jumper cable bags for a while now and absolutely love them. The material is practically bulletproof. Tough as nails, water repellent and stain resistant. My only real nit to pick is the same old one. Please guys, bring the jobs back from China. I would gladly pay more.Otherwise I recommend. Thanks for readingI ordered this tool roll for work and can highly recommend it. I'm a model maker working in the film & television industry and the current project requires onset maintenance of stop frame animation puppets. I need to use a variety of tools ranging from metric and imperial allen keys, needle files, scissors, tweezers, sculpting tools, scalpels, paint brushes etc and everything fits in this tool roll with plenty of room to spare. There are 22 pockets with 3 pouches on the inside with an elasticated band running along the inside/middle of the roll to secure longer tools if necessary. This was a much more practical solution to carrying around a toolbox and the roll design allows you to open the tool roll and immediately see/access everything you need. The rucksack styled strap clips provide a quick and secure closure and nothing falls out when it's being carried. My only one gripe was the delivery took three weeks as the supplier was based in Germany (which wasn't clear when I initially made the purchase) but the package arrived before the suggested day/date so this was only a minor issue and of course, doesn't detract from the quality of the tool roll. The tool roll measures 66cm (unrolled) x 36cm wide. The pockets range from 2.5cm wide to 8cm wide and they're roughly 10cm in depth so tools are secure.I see that a lot of buyers are torn between this and the LeatherCraft tool wrap (me too). And after having bought both, this one won.The LeatherCraft was great don’t get me wrong and had loved the fact that you could store individual sockets (whereas this doesn’t- just 3 Velcro pockets). But this was better for me in terms of robustness. Really strong canvas material. The central elasticated bands are really sturdy - I’ve used mine to hold screwdrivers, spanners, ratchets.perfect for carrying around my tools, as a maintenance tech, sometimes i need just a few tools for quick fix problems. this tool roll is ideal. it also could be used for numerous other applications, fairly priced and well made.Great tool roll, lots of pockets, sturdy construction. Happy with it. Stanley Heritage was a better looking tool roll, and this could look better, but as a workhorse it does the job. It's my first tool roll and I'm not a professional, I was very happy with this item, very sturdy construction with heavy duty canvas and plenty of pockets , I bought it to put a large set of wera screwdrivers in it , even the big ones fit , in my opinion I think this tool roll will serve me well for a long time maybe forever, it also rolls up well and the straps are adjustable, it also comes with a carrying handle.
