Very useful. I went for over 20 years using worm clamps on all my connections. The problem was that often they would eat thru the tubing or would loosen over time. I've been using this Oetiker system for 3 months now without a problem, and am slowly replacing all my tubing and using these clamps to secure the new tubing. I've found that most beer and gas line tubing uses the 13.3 clamps, but the larger diameter tubing on my disconnects for the kettles, mash tuns, pumps, and plate chiller is too big even for the 17.0 clamps that came with the kit.
