This little guitar neck rest is a block of cork particles. It is a good shape. It does what was needed. The little extras that also came with it make this the better choice at the same or slightly higher price than others. It came with a polishing cloth, a string cleaner, and a combination string winder string cutter tool.The benefit of the cork block is that it is stable and won't slip or move much, if any, while the instrument receives work. At the time it was purchased, it cost less than a dollar more than a similar block without the extras.
