Description
As seen strapped to the frames of some of the world's fastest rigs, the Racer is the speediest, lightest Dynaplug tool and just what you want to have on hand when the clock is ticking and the podium beckons. Dynaplug is the fastest, easiest and all-round best way to repair a tubeless tire mid-ride. When needed, just remove whatever caused the puncture, firmly push the novel insertion tube straight (without twisting) into the hole and extract the tool depositing the repair plug in the tire, done! The sealant-friendly repair plug is a unique viscoelastic impregnated rubber that bonds instantly and permanently with your tire, and the nonabrasive brass tip will not scratch your rim or puncture your rim tape. No need to remove the tire, no messy glues or solvents, just plug and go, go, GO! All Dynaplug Tools have a limited life time warranty and are MADE IN THE USA.

Had my first puncture since buying this in a brand new GP5000 TR S tire. Once it became apparent the sealant wasn't going to help the situation I pulled this out and popped it in the hole. A quick hit from a pump and I was back on the road. I had a 8% grade decline following the puncture, but after a minute or two riding on it with no adverse effects I was able to get over 40 MPH on it with no issues. I've since done a 100 mile ride on it and it's held air both between rides and on them. Don't leave home with out one of these if you're tubeless. You can see in the pic the gravely bit is the left over plug material holding on to debris. That has since worn off completely. So, this review is to be taken with a grain of salt. I’ve used it to try it out in my basement on a tire to practice on. It worked well and plugged the hole I made with a Phillips head screwdriver. I was kind of surprised at how well it worked. Now, I managed to save the air quickly because I had it out and ready. I am not sure how quickly you could plug a tire and save the air if you had this stashed somewhere. Hopefully I do not ever need to find out.TL;DR This is an important tool for holes that are too large for sealant to handle alone. It's easier than installing an automotive plug and not a bad price for the convenience this product provides.I'm a commuter in Honolulu, and we have terrible roads and not much better bike paths. Broken glass is relatively common, and some of the thorns will go straight through the sole of your shoe. It's not ideal for cycling, and I'd be changing a tube every week or two despite having the best tires I could afford. In a fit of inspiration, I decided to go tubeless a while back. I bought this tool when I ordered the tires. The intelligent man running the bike shop in Honolulu put some sealant in there, which was good enough for six weeks of trouble-free riding. Eventually, I did hit something larger, and sealant bled out of my tire as though I had spilled milk on the road. Crestfallen, I kept spinning my tire and trying to get the sealant to do its trick. Like an idiot, I wasn't using the plug. Mostly because I was afraid that I'd mess it up in the field. After stopping and using an air pump, I heard the sealant give way with a horrifying hisssss. It took me literally seconds to: Grab the tool from the bottle cage, uncap one-end and jam the plug in there. It stopped immediately, needing only a little trim to finish up. It's been about a week, and the plug seems fine. Price-wise, I feel like I've gotten a good deal. The tool costs a bit, but it's well made and most importantly it is sealed and ready-to-use when needed. I didn't need to play with any solvents, or try to manipulating a gooey little elastomer with dirty/greasy hands.Trail-tested... rider approved! I figured I'd wait until I had used it before writing this review, though hoped I wouldn't have to. Secretly, however, I was kind of hoping for a flat to try it on - curious to see for myself if it lived up to the hype and countless 5-Star reviews. IT'S THE REAL DEAL FOLKS. Two days ago: small-ish puncture on middle seam, in between treads...very clean. Sealant almost held on its own, but when it didn't, slammed a small plug into the hole and WHAMMO...instant seal. I had another 2 mi. of steep, rocky, downhill left that served as the ultimate test, and it held perfectly. Rode 15 rocky miles on it the next day - no pressure loss.I bought this right before the Moco Epic 40 mile I was going to ride. About 20 miles in, I picked up a piece of barbed wire in my rear tire. I pulled out my Dynaplug Racer and plugged the hole and finished riding the other 20 miles with no issues and no loss of air. My sealant was apparently dry as well, but this worked great anyway.I was on a group ride today, and early in the ride one of our team ran over some glass and started spraying sealant out of his rear tire. I have carried the dynaplug since i bought it early last year, and got to try it out for the first time. One quick jab with the small plug, a quick pump up and the day was saved! The whole group marveled at how easy this was to use. Kudos on such a great tool for road cyclists!I works, it will seal the tire and keep you going!Tool is light, sturdy and simple to use. Finally a tubeless bike tire repair tool that actually works! I've tried others, and they've tended to make the hole bigger when the plug was fitted, was difficult to get the plug to seat in the tire, and eventually made the problem worse, resulting in further leakage. When I had a puncture the other day, the Dynaplug just worked - sealed the hole quickly, with no mess, and didn't make it worse! Pretty expensive compared to other products, but I think its worth the premium.
