If that tool would have led incorporated, it would be absolutely perfect...Very useful tool for a yamaha mt07 syncing the injectors.Do what the other reviewers say to oil both ends before using, then try and turn it. Happy with this item.I needed a 90* screw driver, this is perfect for adjusting carburetors. Works great. The one I got broke the first time I used it. I think when the tube for the flexible shaft was bent it pinched the flexible shaft. The one I received didn't fit and I had to file down a small part of the head. Maybe you will have better luck than I did.Great tool for the job. Works exactly as advertised. I restore vintage Japanese motorcycles and use this to set the pilot circuit (idle mixture) screws on the carb banks.Sometimes these screws have limiter caps on them and sometimes the limiter caps are removed to allow for more adjustment range. This tool works for either the ones with the limiter caps on them or those with the caps removed. With the caps removed, the smaller head of the pilot screws fit down nicely into the recessed shroud on the tip of the tool. When the limiter caps are still on the screws you just need to adjust the adjustable collar on the tool (just below the hand grip) so that the tip of the screwdriver can be pushed/extended out past the recessed shroud. That allows you to fit the screw driver tip into the slot on the pilot screw and adjust it. Just takes a bit more care to hold the tool on the screw when adjusting.I don't understand the reviews that say there is no adjustment to extend the tip out of the tool farther. There is. The adjustable collar just below the hand grip has an allen wrench fitting that allows you to loosen the collar, slide the tip further out of the tool, and then tighten the collar back up with the provided allen wrench. Also counting the turns you are putting on the pilot screws is pretty easy. Not sure why some say it's not. The tool has a mark on it so that you have an index to show you where you started, so you can count the number of times you pass that mark, one time for each full 360 degree turn. The mark is a bit hard to see so I've highlighted it with a yellow grease pencil (china marker). I've also put two yellow marks on the adjustable collar each 180 degrees apart. The collar turns when you turn the screwdriver handle. That allows me to clearly see how many full turns or half turns I've made on the pilot screws by watching those marks on the collar as they pass the index mark on the stationary part of the tool. Very easy.Again, great tool for the job. Before purchasing, I read a number of reviews. I started with the bad ones. People complained of no adjustment in the tip. Poor turning or difficulty in turning the mechanism. Then I read a few good reviews. Based on the good reviews, I went ahead and purchased this tool. Happy to report that there is indeed adjustment of the tip. People who say there isn't are wrong. Is it stiff when it comes out of the package? Yes, somewhat, but easily taken care of with a couple of drops of light oil at the tip and a couple at the base of the handle. There is an allen screw at the base of the handle that allows you to adjust the length of the flat blade driver at the tip. Loosen the allen screw and slide the handle in and out a couple of times to let the oil work its way in. Then adjust the length of the tip you need and tighten the allen screw. Your done. This is a great tool. This really is a good quality tool. It is adjustable to the depth of the mixture screw head and can be locked into place to keep the adjustment needed. If a little difficult to turn the handle of the "screw driver" then a few drops of oil will help loosen it up and turn better. Glad I bought this thing along with a Morgan Carbtune. Man, what a tool to have!Works great for tuning they pilot screw / idle circuit screw on my Honda Fourtrax 300!I use this on a 4 cylinder and a single, both with hard to access carbs, and it makes adjusting the pilot screws a breeze.Exactly what I needed! This is the best one I’ve ever usedUsed for hard to reach places. Cant reach the screw . Bit too wide.
