Used for cutting 1" EMT conduit. No problems, worked well.Works well, could be a little longer to afford a bit more leverage when cutting pipe.I have been running 1/2 inch metal conduit. I have an older model of this tool that l have been using for years. I purchased this because it has an extra support cam that mine does not have. I thought this one would allow a quicker cut with less crimping of the conduit. It did not. The cutter on the unit is not as sharp as my older one. I spend more time cutting and if I push, it will deform the end of the conduit and leave a significant internal ring to be removed. Ergonomically it has a good feel but the clutter wheel is poor. I have yet to use it on 3/4 or 1 inch.No corta el tubo completamente, solo lo marca por lo que se tiene que aplicar una fuerza considerable para terminar de separar la pieza deseada y es aun mas difícil cuando la pieza a cortar es pequeña (menor a las 6")This item works, but it escpaes me as to why the retailers allow manufacturers to get away with being so cheap not including a spare cutter blade in the handle. This is so very typical of modern greed.Handy when you can use it. Makes nice snap lines, just don’t try it closer than you can fit in your bender shoe from the end.I did have a guy convinced that I was just breaking pipe over knee at one job. That alone was worth the price.I don’t use this all the time, but I keep it in my bag and use it occasionally. It is faster to use a sawsall and reamer. But as far as how this tool works? It works just like it’s supposed to and is well made. This little guy is tough.I cut through a very thick piece of conduit expending some physical effort but not timeIt works....not well....sometimes it's hard to hold the conduit to keep it from spinning. Short pieces are hard to break off. On foot and longer break no prob....still a burr to deal with. The product does what he says it really scores the emt then you have to snap it whit a hit some where. If the pipe that you are cutting is to small or one side is to short then you will have problem breaking it there. Not recommendedGreat item but you need to score the pipe then break the conduit else you create a bur that hard to get rid ofAs described, great tool if you know how to use it.Really handy in spots you can’t push a hacksaw.
