These types of tool boxes in this price range are never what you want them to be. Drawers are wiggly and sometimes come bent and the metal is cheap. I went through 2 other options on Amazon and gave them both away. Then I noticed this one, mainly because of the cool color. This was definitely the best of the three. Metal is sturdier, the drawers come already lined with a real nice and thick liner, the bottom drawer is taller which is nice, and the color and looks are great, assuming you like lime green. Drawers are still wiggly but I've given up finding one in this price range that don't have wiggly drawers. The lid didn't open all the way at first and kept falling shut, but a little prodding solved the problem. This one is a tad more in price but well worth it.I almost returned this product because it was so heavy. I'm a petite woman and I wanted this to organize tools for my RV. I loved it -- the color pops and the drawers were lovely -- they're even linked. I was super excited about this toolbox except it was already heavy to carry when it was empty. Once I began putting tools in, it was apparent that I would not be able to carry it after it was full without risking muscle strain. But it was just before Father's Day and my dad who is impossible to shop for didn't have a good toolbox to keep on his workbench. I ended up giving it to him and when he saw it, he said, "Oh, that's a nice one." I could tell he was pleased. Since he'll leave it stationary, the weight isn't too much, even for his 85-year-old hands. If I wasn't heading off to be fulltime in an RV traveling the country and was keeping a home base, I would have kept it for my workbench. I'm happy to finally be able to give dad something he liked and could use.Box is definitely built tough. But like everything has weak points. You can have the drawers locked and still pull them out with minimal effort. Defeats purpose of having holes to slide on padlock but guess its alright other than that. Just have to worry about someone popping open my drawers when theres a "lock" on.This is a big and spacious tool box. Very solid and somewhat heavy.I admittingly ordered this for the bright green color, not the quality. The first one came completely destroyed. The entire toolbox was twisted, welds broken, drawers unable to open, so I ordered a replacement. The second came just slightly less damaged. I stood it up on end and could bend the entire toolbox nearly back in place by hand.I don't blame the damage on the shipping as much as the garbage quality. It is constructed of extremely thin gauge metal with substandard welds. A simple fall off a workbench of tailgate would easily disfigure it - especially with the added weight of tools. If you're looking for value & quality, stick with the much cheaper Craftsman 3-drawer.One of the drawer slides came out of the box with some pitting on the rail. I’m not sure how it will hold up over time. Company needs to have better quality control.N/Aits an awesome toolbox that suits my needs perfectly. i especially love the colour as everyone seems to have red or black.Amazing and beautifullDrawer locks cheap, and also cover locks very standard.
