Ordered this and it really does the job!We found that this is especially good for picking up rusty nails at a construction site. It will pick metal up even under dirt if it is not packed too tight.Little parts are always rolling around, and hiding under my work table. This thing helps me to find 'em.Beats crawling around with a flashlight.Works great picking up the nails around the new house construction site. So much easier on my back!This was easy to use and effective. We’re doing a home remodel and were finding staples and nails around the house. I did a quick walk with this and picked up many that I didn’t see. Very strong magnet and works very well!It’s smaller than what I thought it was gonna be but it gets the job done it’s a very strong magnetI had three issues with this magnet.1. The size of the magnet head is VERY small!! 3 inches. So if you’re trying to pick up nails ik your yard after your neighbor gets a new roof and there’s a thousand roofing nails in your yard, your be out there half your life trying to find them.2. It’s so short that I literally had to bend in half to swing it on the ground. I’m 5’10”.3. They made the head of the magnet at an angle so you can’t bend over a little bit to have it reach the ground (because it’s so short), you really have to basically get on your knees because someone thought it was a great idea to design the head at an angle.I guess you get what you pay for. I’m going to Home Depot, at least they have the FLAT 10” magnet for $10-$15 there.
