Purchased to replace pulleys and belt on jaguar x type diesel.Good solid one piece Construction. So is able to take the strain on pulling the tension pully.Space is very tight down the side of the engine. There is not enough space to fit a 3/8 tension bar as some ppl say use. Also a genuine Replacment has an 1/2” square so a different tool would be required for installation.The 2 pins fit into the design of the pully, the bent handle is there for more leverage. If one person is doing the job, tie strap the handle to front of slam panel when tension stop has been reached.You may have to move some components/pipes to one side to do job easily. But this tool is perfect for the job.Some videos on the net show how to remove and install without using a tool, but using mole grips. But why damage a new part costing around £120 from jaguar.Can also be used on mondeos with the same engine. 2.0d or 2.2d
