So I have recently gotten into sourdough and needed a lame. Wasn’t sure if it was necessary or if just a knife would do the trick but I have absolutely loved it! Made a huge difference in scoring my bread. I really enjoy this lame because it is smaller so I have better control when scoring my bread. They are also really sharp so I really like that it retracts! I switched out the blade just to see how the process was, it was very easy. There are magnets holding the 2 halves of the lame together. Also came with extra blades, so that is awesome. Totally recommend.
