This tool was used to pinch off a 3/16th” copper pipe under 40 psi of refrigeration pressure. I found the right pinch-off adjustment by pulling a vacuum on a piece of pipe and pinching to see if the vacuum would hold. Once I had the adjustment it was easy to do the real pipe without worrying if it would leak. Soldered the end of the pipe after pinch off to ensure a good seal. I will recommend this tool.
