Most everyone has a complaint about how the garment industry doesn’t understand their body type. They all think they’re the only one. Whether it’s because of their height, their width, their weight, their proportions or whatever, hardly anyone feels like they get a good fit. I’m a skinny guy and my gripe has to do with dress shirt sizing. For some silly reason, men’s dress shirt sizes are determined not by the actual chest measurement, but by neck circumference. Maybe that works okay for medium to thick guys, but not me.If I buy the tightest neck shirt I can stand, it’s still baggy and bunched up on the front of my suit jacket. The new “Extra Slim” shirts that are finally available these days help some, but I still have to buy a neckline that is nearly tight enough to choke me to get a half-decent fit across my chest. Luckily I don’t have to button one often, but when I do it’s usually a ten minute struggle that involves a lot of cursing. If I fail that, I have to cool off for a few minutes and then ask my wife to help me. Not any more. This Yopolaz Easy Button Hook is just what I need. It’s so simple. It works just like a needle threader. You just slide it through the button hole, hook onto the button and pull it back through. What used to take me up to ten frustrating minutes instead took me five seconds today. I thought it was a fluke the first time, so I did it again and again, over and over. It was just as easy the fifth time as the first. The hardest part was steering the hook with my left hand (I’m a righty) while looking at my reflection in the mirror. I’m sure that after a few more uses, even that will be muscle memory. I am hooked on this thing for life. I’m sure my wife is going to appreciate the fact that my mood will be substantially improved when I’m getting dressed for a formal event.
