I’ve use soil probes for 10 years now and I bought this one since it was cheaper. The probe slot doesn’t open up anywhere to let the plug drop out, so you have to work it out. Normally it falls apart with dry dirt. Then it is so stinking sharp where you pull the plug out it will slice your finger open. Even when I try to be super careful I walk away with blood all over me. That past three cuts were light, the first two were deep. I’m done and it’s going in the trash.
