Did our deck stripping in one day with a hand grinder. Multiple layers of paint. Wanted to stain and this tool did the job. Worked very well.I read a few reviews and watch a few utube vids. I wasn't convinced this was going to work, but it did. I used it on an interior painted floor. the perimeter had several more coats than the center of the room. It worked really well. I let it "float" on the floor with out pushing on it. Every time I hit a nail (there were a lot of nails) I drove the nail down with a center punch. The wheel was picking up some of the small tack nails and throwing them at me (I think the room had linoleum on it at one time, thus the nails). Only one spot was a little iffy. Might have been the way the board was cut, but it sanded out fine. the room was about 200 sf. the paddles were pretty well loaded with paint/glue by the time I finished. With all the nails I was hitting I didn't expect to get through one room. I doubt that you'll get 1,000 sf as stated on the tool. I was happy to get just one large room done. I'll buy this again. Much better than using stripper or sanding-sanding-sanding-sanding, IMO. Good luck on your project. So glad I found this product.Took one and a half of these to do about 500 sq ft of my basement floor. This thing rips up old glue without gouging the floor, it eats like crazy and never clogs. The surface left when done was perfect for staining my concrete and then using a sealer. This tool was the MVP of my basement remodel. One of the blades break. After that it is completely useless. The replacements blades cost almost the same as a new disc.Wow ! What great tool . Properly done with great results. I use this tool to remove thin set . Very little dust hook up to a shop vac ,a variable speed grinder set on 3, a spray water bottle, n95 mask , good eye protection , gloves , and a 5 inch dust collector for your grinder. You are set ! Goo slow the tool will do the work . My bath room is 12ftx20 . I am done !!! Ya hoooooI used this to take a painted on finish on my deck. I was able to do the whole deck and it was still in good shape. Amazing for the price!Best tool ever for removing paint. I had 2 layers on front porch and top coat was grey thick gritty deck paint. Took only 1 hour to remove about half of porch I show in these pics and you can see where I stopped. Wow! I love this tool. Saved amazing amount of time and hassle. This tool removed what nothing else had worked. 4.5 inch was used and there is a lot of torque to try to get away to hurt you. I'm glad I didn't try a 7 inch. No time for photos, sorry
